Hey All—Sorry i failed to post last Thursday, it was Sunday before I realized Thursday had passed. We’ve all be there, right?

Motion Thursday this week captures a playful moment, that in motion (as opposed to this stopped action) looks FAR LESS scary! Jpeg, right, and Max are the best of friends, and you’d never know the fangs fly like they do when they’re at full tilt crazy play!

How to make motion out of a flower show? Slow shutter speeds and fun with a zoom lens! Try it… slow shutter, zoom in on the subject, focus, while you take the photo, zoom out…. try it a couple of times in sequence, you may delete a lot of them, but one or two of them might turn out pretty cool!

Had a GREAT visit to Turtle Lane Maple Farm right here in North Andover, Mass.. So much motion goes in to making maple syrup, but this frame of Farmer Kathy stoking the fire really fills the theme like I intended! Thanks for playing!

Women race in the 3000 meter run at the Reebok Indoor Games athletics meet, Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, in Boston. Gotta make the most of dark indoor venues! Hi ISOs stop the action, but low ones yielding slow shutter speeds make it artsy and interesting!!
